Mariska – FEI Prix St George mare SOLD

Congratulations to Nancy White on the purchase of Mariska.  She will be much loved in the Grand Prix ring in Michigan.

Mariska is a beautiful 15.2hh registered Canadian Sport Horse mare. Sired by Herder (for pedigree click here), she has received approval for the Trakehner registry. For the past 4 years, Mariska has been under professionally supervised dressage training with Olympic trainer Karin Davis. She comes to the ring every day looking to please with a super attitude, has 3 lovely gaits with loads of presence and an exceptional walk which always scores an 8.

Successfully competed at the NAJYR Championships in Kentucky in 2013 & 2014!

Team Championship Test – 65.747% 10th place
Individual Test – 63.132 18th place
Young Riders Kur to Music freestyle – 65.500 14th place

Having competed at NAJYRC in 2013 with a placing of 21st, Mariska has also competed at CDI’s and has also done demonstrations at the Royal Winter Agricultural Fair in Toronto. Her outstanding show record at Prix St George has earned scores in the high 60’s, and at Third level sores in the 70’s! She is currently training the Grand Prix movements with highlights being her lead changes which are easy and well understood. Her piaffe, and passage are showing very good potential and she would make an excellent Amateur, Junior, Young Rider or Under 25 Grand Prix horse.

July 20th 2013 NAJYRC Kentucky
Cassandra Jessop and Mariska finished a strong 21st at NAJYRC being 18th for the freestyle and the top 15 get in! Congratulations to them!  Their scores were 63.270% & 62.737%.


KLDA Championships – Cassandra Jessop and Mariska were Ontario Dressage Championships FEI Junior reserve champions and Ontario Dressage Freestyle Championships FEI Junior reserve champions.

Palgrave Spring into Dressage  – Cassandra Jessop and Mariska were FEI Junior Champion

Bluestar July 29 first PSG and won the class with 66.579% with young rider Cassandra Jessop.
